Maud Educator’s Guide

Thanks to the amazing Debbie Gonzales, MAUD has an Educator’s Guide, geared to Grades 6 and up.

The guide is featured on the left had side of the website under the Newsletter sign up (and while you’re there, sign up for my newsletter, too!). It is also on the main Maud’s World page.  Teachers and librarians (and anyone else who wants to learn and discuss Maud and her times) can download the PDF just by clicking on the image…FOR FREE!

Debbie is the author of the soon-to-be published picture book, Playing Like a Girl, and an expert in building guides for any age group and for a variety of authors who write picture books, and middle grade and young adult fiction. She is aware of what teachers and librarians are looking for and focuses the guide according to the specific need of each author.

From reading MAUD and one brief meeting, Debbie put together this incredible guide that has: “Guided Discussion Bookmarks,” discussion questions based on specific quotes throughout the novel — some I hadn’t even considered–,a brief overview of the life and times of L.M. Montgomery and a little bit about me.

You can find out more abut Debbie’s guides and the wonderful things she can do here: http://www.debbiegonzales.com/guides
