Diving into One’s Obsessions
I received some good news yesterday that I thought that I would share . I was accepted to speak at the Lucy Maud Montgomery at Home in Leaskdale:A Centennial Celebration this October. If you find yourself in Southwestern Ontario, you should come and check out the three-day festivities. When I find out more details, I will let you know.
I will be speaking about some of the imagery in Rilla of Ingleside, which many of you know is my favourite Montgomery book. I feel pretty lucky to be given that kind of opportunity.
Isn’t it funny, the more that I dive into my obsessions, the more those obsessions lead to opportunities and, places I never would have imagined?
Do what you love my friends. Do what you love.

Congratulations Melanie! This is great news, and simultaneously, great advice for other obsessives. 🙂
